Labour North will be holding a training evening with Durham Local Campaign Forum on ‘Standing for election and campaigning as a Labour Candidate’.  This evening session is ideal for Councillors, potential candidates for the 2017 local elections in Durham, and Labour activists keen to get more involved.  The evening will cover:

  • Q & A session with Roberta Blackman Woods MP and Cllr Simon Henig  
  • Training sessions covering the importance of campaigning
  • How to organise community campaigns
  • The importance of community work in being a candidate
