Right-wing Tory Think Tank Policy Exchange has published a report calling on a future Tory Government to give up on Towns and Cities across the North. Instead of investing in regeneration they want people to move South and live in London. They say that a future Tory government would give higher priority to wealthy suburbs and should abandon attempts to impove our proud and historic cities in the North.

Labour believes in the North and its people. Over the last 11 years, Labour has invested millions to help the North regenerate; creating thousands of jobs, new homes and major attractions.
